Marks place was wonderful and beyond expectations. Mark showed us around the house when we arrived then promptly disappeared to let us be but was immediately available via phone or text. We didn’t need him as the House had everything we needed for the visit. Instructions for use of the fire pit were well laid out and the house was beautiful. Only several min away from everything in Amish country and even heard horses plodding along the street one morning. Great location for everything….Amish towns, Hershey Park, Gettysburg, Lancaster, etc

This location was fantastic 4 are small family trip. Loved our nights of roasting smores at the fire pet outside. Kitchen is fully stocked and you can easily cook while still interacting with your family due to the open floor plan. House is wonderfully maintained. Easy access to fantastic sites in Strasburg including a new dairy and ice cream shop. We will return!

The most amazing stay we could wish for! Mark is an amazing host, a great guy and a new friend! He was there for anything we needed, supplied us with everything and more we wished for and was very caring and responsive to all our questions! The house is so comfortable, the kitchen, is super useful, if you like to cook with lots of gadgets, all necessary equipment, I even think he had a pressure cooker in there!!! Amazing spot for just buying produce on farms, or Lancaster market and cooking at home, watching sunset outside on the picnic table or drinking morning coffee on the wrap around deck. We had four children with us and no one felt cramped. The second bedroom is so snug and has a specious bunk bed, a tv and smells wonderfully with the cedar wood, and our teenage daughters had amazing time staying up late, watching there shows and sleeping in in the mornings( noise insulation in the back bedroom is the best!) We had a toddler and a 7 year old staying in the upstairs bedroom with us on the day bed and a pull out bed and I felt quite calm and relaxed that they were right there and aren’t getting into any trouble;) All the kids enjoyed the fire pit, roasted marshmallows, chased bugs and butterflies on the lawn( which is quite spacious), peeked at neighboring horses, saw rabbits and deer on the property and simply had the best time! The location of th place is wonderful, no matter where you will be spending most of your time. The drive to Lancaster is a breeze and sooooo beautiful, with rolling hills, horses, cows, fields of corn and cute farms! Lots of kids activities that are 5-10 minutes drive away! If your are reading this and still are not convinced, please message me directly and ask more questions! This log house is truly THE best experience you could find! Helen and the crew;)
